*Usually laptop does not support Line-in facility so Nasalence measurement cannot be done using a laptop.

Hardware for Voice/Speech Recording: Multi-media headphone-cum-microphone can be used in most of the programs of VSS products. This microphone is to be preferred for an interpretation of inverse filtered signal. Nasalence measurement requries SIU-D with two microphone setup.

Optional VSS Support Hardware and Accessories:
Speech Interface Unit (SIU-D) : A balanced 2 channel front end amplifier to accept signal from a dynamic microphone OR nasalence measurement setup.
Audio Interface Unit (AIU) : A balanced 2 channel amplifier to play mono/stereo signal from PC over headphone at desired SPL for AudioLab SW.
Accessories : High quality dynamic microphone, Two microphone set up for nasalence measurement, Multi-media headphone-cum-microphone.
