Vagmi Rental

Vagmi-Rental is a set of user-friendly software products, assisting in therapy and diagnosis of voice and speech disorders. It is run on MS Windows. Therapy software is also useful in schools for the hard of hearing.

Vagmi-Rental has three products:

Vagmi-Therapy Rental for clinics and schools

Vagmi-Basic-Diagnostics Rental for clinics

Vagmi-Therapy Home Edition for clients

Features

By renting Vagmi, you can set up your clinic for as low a budget as Rs5000.
You can rent for short or long periods depending on the workload of your clinic/school.
After usage, you re-invest part of the income towards renewal for an additional period. VSS offers an incentive for frequent renewal.
There is no need to upgrade. You get the latest version of the software.
VSS is introducing Vagmi-Therapy Home Edition to be issued to your clients through you at no loss of revenue to you.
Nowadays, most clients have a PC at home. They can sub-rent Vagmi-Therapy Home Edition from your clinic/school. Get trained by you. Practice therapy at home at their convenience. This saves commuting time that can be considerable. Also, you can offer service to more clients and save your time.

Vagmi-Therapy Rental consists of three modules:

Voice Therapy

Articulation and Nasalence⁺ Therapy

Disfluency Therapy

Vagmi-Therapy Home Edition consists of only ONE of the three modules given above depending on the choice of the customer.

Vagmi-Basic-Diagnostics Rental consists of facilities for:

Recording a voice sample, saving and registration
Acoustic analysis of voice sample and extraction of clinically significant parameters
View clinical report with/without normative data and Print report
View graphics display (consolidated or user's selection) and Print graphics
On-line measurements: (i) MPD (ii) SZ Ratio (iii)DDK and (iv) Nasalence

⁺Nasalence measurement requires support hardware developed by VSS described below.
For other programs, one can use multi-media headphone-cum-microphone that is readily available in the market (approx cost Rs150-200).

Vagmi-Therapy Rental Charges

300 Rupees per Hour. This is an initial offer.
Time is counted only when a therapy menu is invoked.
Minimum Hours to rent 16
You may opt for additional hours in multiples of 10
Time elapsed and time available are displayed during usage.
You may opt for more copies of SW if you have more PCs.
One hardware lock is required to operate each copy of Vagmi-Therapy Rental.

Vagmi-Basic-Diagnostics Rental Charges

Diagnosis of voice disorder involves several steps.
Each major step consumes certain number of points, as given in the following Table.

A hardware lock is required to operate Vagmi-Basic-Diagnostics Rental.

Vagmi-Therapy Rental and Vagmi-Basic-Diagnostics Rental can be installed on the same PC. Then only one hardware lock is required. This has to be specified at the time of purchase.

Vagmi-Therapy Home Edition Rental Charges

Vagmi-Therapy Home Edition is issued ONLY through a qualified professional or special teacher in a hard of hearing school.

Professional or the School will not lose income by issuing SW to the client.

You may select the module of interest to you.

You may opt for more copies to serve several clients.

One hardware lock is required for each copy of SW.

Charges to the Professional:
The above offer is made only to the professional and not to the client.
Time is counted only when a therapy menu is invoked.
Minimum Hours to rent: 10.
Additional hours rented in multiples of 10.
Time elapsed and time available are displayed during usage.

Client Charges:
The professional charges the client for initial consultation and training on SW usage.
The professional can decide the rates, i.e, Rs per hour.
HW lock and CD can be issued on collecting:

Deposit towards the hardware lock and

Rental charges on the available number of hours.

After usage, the client returns the hardware lock and CD.

Professional may calculate the refund to the client:

Deposit amount may be returned.
Number of hours utilized by the client can be checked.
Any other charges like service during usage at home can be recovered.

Registration (New Customers)

Only qualified professionals may register.

You register with us for a nominal fee of Rs. 1500.

One hardware lock worth Rs1000 is issued FREE.

Registration (Existing Customers)

There is NO registration fee for our present customers.
Exchange Offer for Therapy: Customers can exchange Windows Version of Vaghmi Therapy for the latest Vagmi-Therapy Rental, and get the hardware lock as free replacement on return of the original lock.
Exchange Offer for Diagnostics: Customers can exchange Windows Version of Vaghmi Diagnostics for the latest Vagmi-Basic-Diagnostics Rental, and get the hardware lock as free replacement on return of the original lock.

For registration please provide on a letter head the professional affiliation and contact details.

Optional Support Hardware and Accessories

Nasalence measurement requires support hardware consisting of Two channel balanced amplifier, Dynamic Mic, and Two Mic Setup. It costs Rs. 8500.
Other measurements can be done using regular multi-media headphone-cum-microphone, readily available in the market (about Rs150-200).

Email us or send us SMS to our mobile or call and register your problem. We will answer your queries at the earliest.
Also, we can establish internet conferencing and check the installation on your machine with your consent.

Refund
You may withdraw your registration any time by returning the hardware locks and CDs. Reasons for withdrawal have to be stated. You get 50% refund of the cost of the hardware locks and cost of un-utilized number of hours in case of Vagmi-Therapy Rental, Vagmi-Therapy-Home Edition and value of un-utilized number of points in case of Vagmi-Basic-Diagnostics Rental.

Renewal

When the validity expires, you re-charge.

You renew for required number of hours (Therapy) or points (Diagnostics).

Calculate the rental charges.

There is a nominal fee of Rs.500/- per re-charge.

Send DD for the total re-charge amount plus taxes to Voice and Speech Systems, Bangalore.

Mention your ID.

We send a Re-charge EXE file as an attachment Via email.
Run the Re-charge EXE on your PC where the hardware lock is installed.
Else, you send the hardware lock by mail/courier to us to recharge and return.
You can carry over un-utilized number of hours or points between re-charges.

Incentives

Customers who re-charge frequently get extra Hours or Points as bonus.
For 10 re-charges, customer gets 10% of the total utilized Hours or Points FREE.
Also, you will be provided with the latest upgrade if the SW has been revised.
For every new customer you introduce, you get a bonus of 3 Hours of Therapy Rental or 30 Points of Basic-Diagnostics Rental.

Terms and Conditions

License implies EXE to be installed on only one PC.
Hardware lock is essential to run the software.
Each EXE requires one HW lock to be installed on USB Port.
If hardware lock is lost then it is not replaced. You have to keep the lock secure.
VSS reserves the right to revise the prices and specs.
